The School Run
Mummy’s got a four by four
So she can take me door to door.
She knows I wouldn’t want to bear
The fifty yards in open air.
On Monday it was raining, the Range Rover kept us dry.
On Tuesday it was sunny so we gave the Jeep a try.
On Wednesday it was oh so hot, but the air-con doused the heat.
On Thursday it was chilly but we had a heated seat.
On Friday mummy’s shopping for a brand new Prada Bag
so I will have to slum it, in daddy’s silver Jag.
Next year I won’t need any help as mummy thinks I’ve grown,
And I can get myself to school in a Hummer of my own.
